A shared cloud library removes the copy-and-paste-between-sites problem most Divi 5 builders live with. Here is how to move an existing Divi Library into DiviVault, and what else you can save and reuse once it is there.

Why a shared library

Most agencies and freelancers who build with Divi keep a personal library of sections, rows, and modules they reuse across projects. The trouble is Divi's own Library lives on one site. Reusing a saved item on a different site usually means exporting a layout file on one site and importing it on another, by hand, every time.

DiviVault's Cloud Library is meant to remove that step. Save something once, on any connected site, and it is available in the Visual Builder on every other site connected to the same account. Sections, rows, modules, full pages, CSS, code snippets, design variables, and Theme Options snapshots all work the same way.

What you can do today

  • Move items from a site's Divi Library into DiviVault, one at a time or many at once.
  • Right-click a section, row, or module in the Visual Builder and choose Save to DiviVault.
  • Open the page bar's gear menu and choose Save Page to DiviVault to save a whole page as one layout.
  • Open the Cloud Library from the builder bar on any connected site and add a saved item to the page.
  • Use the DiviVault tab inside Divi's own Insert Section, Row, or Module window.

Whether you move existing items or save new ones from the builder, your library is shared across every connected site.

Moving Divi Library items, step by step

Move Divi Library items to DiviVault sends items from a site's own Divi Library into DiviVault without rebuilding them. The items stay on the site. Each one brings its images, colors, variables, presets, categories, tags, and thumbnail.

  1. 1

    Open the Divi Library page

In WordPress admin, open Divi's Library page and click the DiviVault button, then choose Save to DiviVault.

  2. 2

    Choose your items

Pick one item or many. DiviVault shows the result for every item, and skips any item that is already in DiviVault, so nothing is copied twice.

  3. 3

    Open it on another site

On any connected site, open the Cloud Library from the builder bar, find the item, and add it to the page.

Bringing items back to a site

The same DiviVault button on the Divi Library page also has Import From DiviVault, which brings saved layouts into the site's Divi Library and skips any layout that is already there. You can also useExport Divi Library Items to download chosen items as one Divi file.

Saving as you build

You do not have to move anything first. In the Visual Builder, right-click the section, row, or module you want to reuse and choose Save to DiviVault. Name the item, pick a category, and add tags. The type is set automatically from what you saved. Capture a screenshot if you want a thumbnail in the library.
